SeaSpirits: Concentration of Light and Color

Our world seems infinitely at sea. Strictly speaking, depending on the weather, the view only ranges between a cable length and a few miles to the horizon. Nevertheless this room of water and sky appears limitless. As limitless as the rich variety of light and color.
The photographer Helmut Kraus, DGPh, traces this variety of lighting effects, color nuances and contrasts in his edition SeaSpirits. On the basis of his photographies he creates with the help of the computer unique atmospheric images, which transform the objectively photographed to a subjective concentration of the mood experienced at sea.
